Three gold medals for the shooters of the “Akademac” Shooting Club

Shooters of the Military Academy’s Shooting Club “Akademac” won three of the four gold medals in the senior disciplines of small-bore weapons in the first round of the Cup of the Serbian Shooting Sport Federation held in Novi Sad. The first round of the Cup is a continuation of a series of shooting competitions in our country, which was interrupted in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
On the first day of the competition in the Olympic disciplines of sport pistol and small-bore rifle (trostav 3x40), the winners were Lieutenant Tamara Đorđević and Milenko Sebić. They both took first places in their qualification rounds. The only female representative in the discipline of 3х40 small-bore rifle, the wife of a member of the national team and an Olympic competitor, Milenko Sebić, took the fourth place.
On the second day of the competition, the program included the discipline of centre-fire pistol, in which Lieutenant Petar Nikolić triumphed with only one round of advantage over his club colleague, civilian employee of the armed forces Dimitrije Grgić. The third place was taken by a member of the national team, Duško Petrov, from the "Aleksa Dejović" Shooting Club, who had had an identical result as Grgić, so Grgić’s better fifth series was decisive.
