Great success of military athletes in the Third “1300 Corporals” Memorial Race
Captain Nevena Jovanović from the MP Battalion “Kobre“ won two races at the Third “1300 Corporals” Memorial Event which was held in Aranđelovac. Captain Jovanović took first places in the 5km-race for members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior and the 10-km “1300 Corporals” memorial race.
Military employee Nataša Ćulafić from the Military Academy’s Sports Unit took second places in the aforementioned races. Second Lieutenant Marina Radovanović from the Signal Brigade won the AQUA VIVA fitness race.The “1300 Corporals” memorial race is organized in honour of one of the greatest feats in the history of warfare and heroism of the Serbian intellectuals and students who were sent to the front line of the Battle of Kolubara to boost the morale of the decimated Serbian army.
